Open now through February, Creative Mind is a celebration of African American scientists and visionaries who have made contributions to American society. This exhibit is a collection of various resources from around the country and includes posters from the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. commemorating the opening of the new National Museum of African American History and Culture, oral histories comprising the Black Quilted Narratives, a program of the National Visionary Leadership Project, Creative Mind panels from the African American History Program of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, a screener of the PBS documentary series "Black America since MLK: and I Still Rise" and more! This exhibit will be on display from now through the month of February at Mid-America Science Museum.
