Birthday Party Bash
Make your child's birthday an extraordinary and memorable day by celebrating at the Mid-America Science Museum! Each party includes:
  • A private party area for your celebration
    You can personalize your party by providing the cake, beverages, plates, cups and other serving products yourself.
  • Set-up and decoration of the party area
    MASM staff can help you decorate the party area with your materials, or with generic supplies that the museum has in stock.


Party Costs and Extras
  • Birthday Party area
    Use of area for 1 hour: $75 + tax
    Each additional 1/2 hour: $30 + tax
  • Museum exploration
    $6/person + tax
    ( Museum members explore for free.).
  • Museum exploration, laser show and virtual reality simulator ride
    $10/person + tax
    (Museum members experience the entire museum for only $2?person + tax.)


Party Planning & Guidelines
  • A maximum of 35 guests is recommended in the party area.
  • The Museum is available for parties any day that the Museum is open, during the following hours:
    • 11 am - 12 noon
    • 1 pm - 2 pm
    • 3 pm - 4 pm
  • Parties should be reserved a least 1 week in advance in order to guarantee preferred dates and times.
  • A deposit of 50% of the total party price is required at the time the reservation is made.
  • Museum members hosting a party receive a 10% discount.
  • A Gift Registry can be established in advance at the Museum Store.
