GIRLS IN STEM AT MID-AMERICA SCIENCE MUSEUM

Girls in STEM workshops for girls only ages 6 and older are the first Saturday of every month beginning at 10 am! Our January Girls in STEM workshop will feature a special guest from the Little Rock Zoo! Meet a penguin, and learn about how animals adapt! Cost for this workshop is $10 per participant, plus general admission. One parent welcome w/ each participant. Maximum of 60 participants for this special January Girls in STEM workshop!

Sci-Fi Science Society

Adults ages 21 and older are invited to join Mid-America Science Museum for another fun evening of science fun, drinks, food and more at the museum's monthly Science Society! This month the theme is SCI-FI in honor of the upcoming Spa Con. Guests are encouraged to dress up like their favorite science fiction characters, and DJ Courier Coleman will have some out of this world tunes that he will be playing throughout the evening. As always Tri- Lakes Liquor will also be on site providing adult refreshments. Science Society events are now $10 admission, plus donations are accepted for food and drinks. Remember the entire museum is open for these special events.

Girls in STEM: Kitchen Chemistry with Kids Cook Arkansas

Join Mid-America Science Museum for Girls in STEM, a monthly workshop for girls only ages 6 and older on the first Saturday of every month at 10 am. Girls in STEM Workshops are led by female museum educators and are meant to empower a future generation of women in STEM. The workshop on Saturday, September 1st at 10 am will be all about Kitchen Chemistry with Faith Anaya from Kids Cook Arkansas! Parents are welcome. Cost is $5 per workshop participant, plus general admission.
