Sci-Fi Science Society

Adults ages 21 and older are invited to join Mid-America Science Museum for another fun evening of science fun, drinks, food and more at the museum's monthly Science Society! This month the theme is SCI-FI in honor of the upcoming Spa Con. Guests are encouraged to dress up like their favorite science fiction characters, and DJ Courier Coleman will have some out of this world tunes that he will be playing throughout the evening. As always Tri- Lakes Liquor will also be on site providing adult refreshments. Science Society events are now $10 admission, plus donations are accepted for food and drinks. Remember the entire museum is open for these special events.

Girls in STEM: Kitchen Chemistry with Kids Cook Arkansas

Join Mid-America Science Museum for Girls in STEM, a monthly workshop for girls only ages 6 and older on the first Saturday of every month at 10 am. Girls in STEM Workshops are led by female museum educators and are meant to empower a future generation of women in STEM. The workshop on Saturday, September 1st at 10 am will be all about Kitchen Chemistry with Faith Anaya from Kids Cook Arkansas! Parents are welcome. Cost is $5 per workshop participant, plus general admission.

Featuring a special show about the Dog Star Sirius in the Oaklawn Foundation Digital Dome Theater. Learn the science behind the Dog Days of Summer and more during this monthly Science Society event! Girls in STEM - Sound Engineering Workshop

Girls in STEM workshops continue at Mid-America Science Museum with an all-new workshop on Saturday, August 4th that will be all about "Sound Engineering"!

AC/DC Science Society

Join Mid-America Science Society for another fun evening of drinks, food and science fun for adults during AC/DC Science Society. We will not only be celebrating Nikola Tesla's birthday, but we will also have fun adult science experiments, and caged-lightning performances happening in the Tesla Theater throughout the evening. Plus some wonderful music, refreshments courtesy of Tri- Lakes Liquor, and food by Jimmy John's

Summer Dino Camp

Summer Day Camps begin Monday, June 25th with Dino Camp! This week-long camp will use the newly opened Oaklawn Foundation DinoTrek to help campers learn about paleontology, geology, and paleoecology. Campers will also dig up their own 3D printed dinosaur skeletons!
