Here, you can enjoy the beautiful view, experiment with the electricity that is naturally a part of your own body on the Music Bench exhibit, roll and run in the Rope Bowl, and test your fearlessness on the Rope V-Bridge. In the summers, a special Fog Bridge exhibit will periodically and suddenly appear to surely cool you down. This award-winning installation is the recipient of over 19 awards, including the People’s Choice and Members’ Choice Awards from the Arkansas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.

As you traverse the enchanting Light Bridge, your attention will undoubtedly be drawn to a distinctive architectural marvel visible through the windows to the south. This extraordinary structure beckons exploration and is conveniently accessible through a doorway in the West Wing of the Museum.

Named the Bob Wheeler Science Skywalk, this awe-inspiring creation stretches an impressive 180 feet from the rear of the Museum and is suspended 40 feet above the ground. As you step onto this elevated pathway, you will find yourself immersed in a captivating experience that goes beyond conventional museum exploration.

The Skywalk provides a panoramic and breathtaking perspective, granting you unparalleled views of the sprawling 21 wooded acres that envelop the Museum. From this vantage point, you can marvel at the intricacies of nature and gain a unique insight into the ecological richness that surrounds the museum grounds.
