Summer Science Camp

Suitable for ages 6-12. Each Camp is one week long Monday-Friday. $200 for members & $250 for non-members.

There will be a $30 processing fee applied to all cancellations. Parents may receive up to a 50% refund on camps cancelled within two weeks prior to the beginning of the registered camp. No refunds will be issued after 2 weeks prior to the beginning date of camp.

Daily Drop-off times between 7:30-8:00 AM. Pickup times between 4:30 - 5:00 PM.

Camp Wildlife June 24-28th

Campers will turn the museum's 21 wooded acres into their very own outdoor learning laboratory examining wildlife native to the museum's surrounding environment all while learning about native species of plants, insects, animals (and dinosaurs) that may be discovered around the museum and around the creek that flows through the museum property.

Camp Dino-Mite! July 1-5th

Delve into all things Dino-related during camp Dino-mite! Explore and learn about the study of paleontology and dinosaurs using the Oaklawn Foundation DinoTrek at Mid-America Science Museum!

Science with a Twist: July 8 – July 12 

Blending science, technology, engineering and art this STEAM driven camp will encourage campers to look at science in new and creative ways and put a twist on conventional hands-on science learning.

View science through the lens of Harry Potter’s Wizarding World as campers learn to conjure potions, charms, build wands, learn transfiguration, how to care for magical creatures and even learn how to properly play quidditch!

 Mission Control Camp July 29 – August 2nd

Campers will learn about space and space exploration during this hands-on science camp utilizing the Oaklawn Foundation Digital Dome Theater and more this is a summer space camp that will be out of this world!
