Mid-America Science Museum's Homeschool Learning Pod Experience!

Elevate your homeschooling curriculum with Mid-America Science Museum's hands-on learning pod experience. Bring your homeschool group to the museum and explore interactive exhibits, workshops, dissections, Tesla Theater Shows, Digital Dome Shows, and more. Our Homeschool Learning Pod Experience allows you to custom tailor an enriching scientific journey to meet the curriculum needs of your homeschoolers.

Surrounding the facility are 21 wooded acres, providing a picturesque backdrop for outdoor exploration. Our grounds also house the Oaklawn Foundation DinoTrek, Arkansas's first and only permanent outdoor dinosaur exhibit. The DinoTrek offers homeschool groups the opportunity to encounter dinosaurs up close, transporting your homeschool group to a prehistoric environment where they can learn about dinosaur behaviors, habitats, and evolution.

Planning your homeschool experience is easy. With a minimum two-week advanced registration requirement, we ensure that your experience is seamless and customized to meet your specific needs.

Book your homeschool experience on Thursday and enjoy Scientots at no extra charge. Led by our team of professional educators, Scientots offers an exciting blend of literacy and hands-on exploration that ignites curiosity and fosters a love for learning. After each story, children will have the opportunity to dive deeper into the subject through hands-on activities that bring the science to life. From experiments and crafts to sensory play and exploration, Scientots provides a dynamic and enriching experience and is designed specifically for children aged 6 and under.
