From alternating current to the inspiration for the smartphone, Nikola Tesla’s legacy continues to inspire generations of scientists and inventors!
Join us at the Mid-America Science Museum on Saturday, July 8th for Tesla Fest when we’ll be celebrating the life and legacy of a true visionary and father of modern technology, and in honor of Tesla’s 167th birthday on July 10th, the 167th guest will win a free Tesla Fest T-shirt!
All day we’ll be featuring special science shows in the Dorothy Van Lue & Albert F.W. Habeeb Tesla Theater, home of the World’s Most Powerful Conical Tesla Coil, and in the Oaklawn Foundation Digital Dome Theater.
Experiment with some of Tesla’s most iconic theories at our Discovery Tables where you’ll be able to explore robotics and electrical currents.
Come dressed as your favorite scientist or inventor and receive a Tesla Fest button, and don’t forget to snap a selfie with Tesla.
We’ll also be hosting a Tesla scavenger hunt and the first 100 guests to finish will win a special prize.
